• He was also found guilty in all six capital felony charges that were leveled against him in relation to the murders, making him eligible for the death penalty.

• The last time someone was put to death in Connecticut was Michael Ross (aka The Roadside Strangler) in 2005

Euro Terror Twists & Turns• LONDON There are developments on a couple of fronts two days

after the US issued a travel alert warning of possible terror attacks on targets in Europe.

• Police have nabbed 12 overnight in raids across the southern part country. Three were linked to a ring getting jihadis back from Afghan. Others were tied to Islamist groups and gun-running

• French police had no comment to a question on whether there was a link to US worries about terror coming from Pakistan aiming at Europe.

• France has its own concerns about another Al Qaeda threat from North Africa which has had officials there on edge.

• For his part, French Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux told the National Assembly, “The threat is real and vigilance is total.”

• Meanwhile there is more information regarding the  drone attacks Monday night in North Waziristan Pakistan and the possible role of those targeted in the terror plot.

• Pakistani officials now say five German nationals presumably training with Al Qaeda were killed in the strike along with three facilitators.

CAMP WAS ARRESTED FRIDAY MINUTES AFTER HE HANDED AN UNDERCOVER LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENT $160 FOR COCAINE AND ROXYCODONE, A NARCOTIC PAIN MEDICATION, THAT HE INTENDED TO USE WITH THE EXOTIC DANCER, AUTHORITIES SAID IN A COURT DOCUMENT RELEASED MONDAY. THEY SAID THEY ALSO FOUND TWO FIREARMS IN THE FRONT SEAT OF HIS VEHICLE.

Researchers Combine Smallpox, Anthrax Vaccines • Researchers have combined vaccines against smallpox

and anthrax into one vaccine that could protect against both germs in a biological attack.

The U.S. government team said on Monday they had improved both vaccines, as well, to make them safer, faster-acting and more effective.

"Although licensed vaccines are available for both smallpox and anthrax, because of inadequacies associated with each of these vaccines, serious concerns remain as to the deployability of these vaccines, especially in the aftermath of a bioterror attack involving these pathogens," Liyanage Perera of the U.S. National Cancer Institute and colleagues wrote.

The new dual vaccine can be freeze-dried, stockpiled and rapidly delivered when needed, they wrote in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

North Carolina College Student Killed in Dorm

• ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. -- A STUDENT AT A BIBLE COLLEGE IN NORTH CAROLINA WAS SHOT AND KILLED IN HIS DORM ROOM, AND SCHOOL OFFICIALS SAY ANOTHER STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE.

• MID-ATLANTIC CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY SAYS ON ITS WEBSITE THAT SOPHOMORE JONATHAN SCHIPPER WAS SHOT AND KILLED SUNDAY.

• THE SCHOOL'S STATEMENT SAID THE SHOOTING APPEARED TO BE A PERSONAL MATTER BETWEEN TWO STUDENTS. THE STATEMENT ALSO SAID THE PERSON BELIEVED TO HAVE SHOT SCHIPPER SURRENDERED TO POLICE. A POLICE DISPATCHER IN ELIZABETH CITY IN NORTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA SAID NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE MONDAY NIGHT.

• POLICE RESPONDED TO A REPORT OF A SHOOTING ON THE MACU CAMPUS AROUND 1 P.M. SUNDAY. SCHIPPER'S BODY WAS FOUND IN A STUDENT DORM.

• THE SCHOOL'S STATEMENT SAYS SCHIPPER WAS FROM HAVELOCK.

What do all these news stories have in common ?

Sadly, This Is Our World Today

• Be assured of what God says about these evil people and what he will do about it even if they were his people at one time

What causes people to go wrong

What do we do about evil people?

• Matt 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

• Matt 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

• Matt 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas.

• Matt 12:40-41 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

• 41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

• Will the world listen to Christ of whom he spoke?

• If not, expect the worst possible outcome for all of them!

The Lord’s Actions Can Be Predicted

• Ps 34:12-17 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. 16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
