The surrounding area is filled with ruins related to the Battle of Okehazama.   Nearby Narumi Station are the remains of Zensho-ji Fort and Nakashima Fort. Nobunaga s army marched to battle from these forts. Close to Odaka Station are the remains of Odaka Castle where Matsudaira Motoyasu (Tokugawa Ieyasu) received provisions before heading to battle. Visitors can also see the remains of two forts which surrounded the castle, Washizu Fort and Marune Fort.

Double your enjoyment of Arimatsu and Okehazama through volunteer guides  Guided tours are provided by volunteers from the Arimatsu Anai-Bito Association in Arimatsu and the Society to Preserve Okehazama Historic Battlefield in Okehazama. (Reservation required. Charged) Every year, the Arimatsu Shibori Tie-Dye Festival is held on the 1st Weekend in June, and the Okehazama Historic Battlefield Festival is held in mid-May.

●Chofuku-ji Temple The temple remembered in connection with Imagawa Yoshimoto. Yoshimoto,s wooden statue is enshrined here. Monks from this temple led efforts to supply sake and food to the forces of Imagawa.

●Okehazama Shinmeisha  Shrine Yoshimoto,s retainer Sena Ujitoshi and approximately 200 warriors prayed for victory at this shrine. They offered a barrel of sake to the shrine.

Kamagatani  It is said that Nobunaga organized a surprise attack from this location.

Mt. Okehazama  It is said that Imagawa Yoshimoto established his base on the side of this mountain.
