Conclusion
• The AMHS Service using X.25 IDRP Router is planned to be in operation as of 03/04
• Plan to expand router site in Oakland ARTCC is in process to provide diversity
• Plan to use ATN router’s IS-IS function to support IP sub-network for AMHS Service
• FAA is currently developing a plan to replace its AFTN switching equipment (NADIN MSN) which will fully integrate AMHS functions
