AIM
To provide the basic knowledge necessary to understand the construction and working principle of
Vehicle Structures, Auxiliary systems and recent trend in Automobile engineering applications
OBJECTIVES
To understand the layout Engine and Vehicle structures and its working principle
To select and to know the essential elements to increase the efficiency automotive components
for engineering applications.
To make the learners to understand the transmission, cooling and lubrication systems in
automobiles
To understand the suspension steering geometry and advanced braking systems
To utilize the alternate sources of energy to increase the economy and efficiency in automobiles
