With today’s society, it’s easy to find gamers from all ages. Games are so involving, we come across games from CSI to cooking, it’s no wonder that games are so popular.

63% of people in Ontario are considered to be gamers. Although the majority of this percentage are males, females are not too far behind. Males rank at 59% and women are at 49%.

that some video games have therapeutic applications for patients?

Some games are able to enhance motor and spatial skills?

Some games enhance the ability to problem solve?

For the Future

We have already seen from such games as pong from 1972 with simple keyboard movement to controllers you can move around to hit a ball in a tennis game here in 2008. however, what can we expect now from games? Perhaps a virtual experience for the whole family to enjoy? Only time will tell.
