Great Products and Techniques for Your Practice: This seminar covers clinical procedures from start to finish, highlighting the best products, materials and techniques that enable dentists to produce the highest quality dentistry in the least amount of time, at a low level of stress. It will include hands-on demos where the attendees can practice using many new products. This course is designed to increase hourly production and will demonstrate many ways that clinical dentistry can be enhanced, upgraded, simplified, done quicker and made more fun for the entire dental team. You will go home with a “cookbook of Pearls” that can be immediately implemented in your office.

Preventive and Restorative Dentistry Working in Concert for the Best, Most Predictable Outcomes This course will cover strategies to help you patients from prevention of dental caries to restorative strategies that offer long-term results. Clinical results and the profit potential of a caries management program alongside comprehensive restorative treatment planning and implementation will be covered. Cases will be discussed in depth and attendees will be able to participate in the evaluation of patients for caries risk, risk management, documentation and restorative treatment.

Improving the Patient Anesthesia Experience- Decreasing Pain in the Dental Office: The number one way dental providers are judged relates to the pain experienced by a patient during care. This presentation covers the patient experience and reviews the new anesthesia agents, devices, and techniques that improve outcomes and build practices, including: Discuss new research and anesthetic agents that impact the practice of pain management in dentistry ♦ Discuss occurrences and basic management of local anesthesia adverse events ♦ Gain knowledge on new anesthetic products that impact patient outcomes ♦ Discuss basic anesthetic armamentarium with updates in methodology

Geriatric Care: The biggest boom in dentistry will be the ever growing geriatric population. What is a geriatric patient? Is it age dependent and the answer is not really! Decisions are often very challenging on what is best for the patient. Treatment planning and case presentations and other highlights are: Prevention is for all ages and doesn’t stop here! ♦ Customizing your approaches for plaque, xerostomia and so much more. ♦ Reparative dentistry, when, where and why and what materials are best to utilize ♦ Grafting decisions and why you need to incorporate these into your practice ♦ Direct restorative materials that are must haves for this group Indirect options that are essential to understand and how embrasures and margins are age dependent

Updates in Pediatric Dentistry: The course will begin with modern concepts of caries management and minimally invasive dentistry. The importance of preventive care in pediatric dentistry cannot be over-emphasized. Diagnostic aids necessary to determine the best methods for prevention will be described and techniques for prevention recommended for the different cases as presented. The apprehensive child patient may be very challenging, and therefore the correct psychological management of these patients must be addressed. There is a substantial number of complicating factors that must be considered with these patients, such as, parenting, societal changes, and stage of development. The coping methods to allow for successful treatment will be presented including sedation, nitrous oxide analgesia, and treatment under general anesthesia. The restorative care of all dental patients require a strong knowledge of dental materials and their applications. The course will present new concepts in adhesion and current research into new dental materials familiarizing the participant with current technology. Pulpal therapy has undergone a number of changes with many practitioners sadly out of date. The discussion of current methods, research and animal studies will update the attendee to new, promising procedures in pulpal therapy.
