COACHING STAFFHead Coach,Chuck PaganoPro Career: Chuck Pagano was namedhead coach of the Colts on January 26,2012, after spending four seasons withthe Baltimore Ravens (2008-2011),including last season as the defensivecoordinator. Under his direction theRavens defense ranked third in the NFL intotal defense (288.9 ypg), second againstthe run (92.6 ypg) and fourth against thepass (196.3 ypg), and helped the teamfinish first in the AFC North with a recordof 12-4. Prior to 2011, Pagano coachedBaltimore’s secondary for three seasons.The Ravens finished as the third-bestscoring defense in each of those cam-paigns as well as giving up a league-low16.1 points per game and 80 touchdowns(tied with Pittsburgh for best in the NFL).During that span, Baltimore ranked sec-ond in the NFL for most interceptions athome (38) and home yards given up pergame (272.9). In his first season inBaltimore (2008), the Ravens led the NFLwith 26 interceptions, including Ed Reed’sleague-leading nine picks. Pagano alsoserved as the defensive backs coach ofthe Oakland Raiders (2005-06) and thesecondary coach of the Cleveland Browns(2001-04).
