STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs traded 2.00 – 15.00 lower and feeder lambs traded 3.00 – 10.00 higher. Slaughter ewes traded 1.00 – 10.00 higher and slaughter bucks traded 10.00 higher. Slaughter kids traded 4.00 – 17.00 lower. Slaughter nannies traded 5.00 – 17.00 lower and slaughter billies traded 5.00 higher. Traded activity was moderate on moderate buyer demand. In the sheep supply 28% slaughter lambs and 10% feeder lambs, 62% slaughter ewes and bucks with balance being replacement ewes. The goat supply consisted of 69% slaughter kids, 29% slaughter nannies, 2% slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs sold on a per cwt basis and goats sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
