Petro-Canada Identified a Need for a Synthetic Multi-Functional Fluid in 1998 to Compete with Mobil’s SHC & Exxon Terresstic SHP Line of Lubricants

Product has been introduced in the following grades: ISO VG 68, 150, 220, and 460

All grades available in drum & pail

– Ester solubilizes varnish pre-cursors

– Keeps equipment clean

Synduro SHB’s contain a “Mild EP” package• Amine Phosphate (N/P) not a S/P package

• Non corrosive to “Yellow Metals”

Synduro SHB’s are very stable in presence of water

ISO 460 Product Field Trial In High Temperature Gearbox Applications With DMI In Peace River, Alberta.

DMI Had Been Using Mobil SHC 634 With an Oil Service Interval of 4000 Hours.

Product Was Tested in IK-525R Worm Gear Type Soot Blower Carriages Used In the Plant’s Recovery Boiler.

Results Were As Follows:

– Condition of Synduro SHB 460 After 4000 hours Was So Good That Trial Was Extended to first 8,000 then 16,000 Hours.

– After 5500 Hours, the Properties of the Oil Had Not Changed Significantly and TAN Was Well Below Condemning Limit

– Only Significant Difference vs. Mobil SHC Was that Our Product Had Approximately 20% Better Oxidation Stability.
