Its hard to believe were now in 2011.

When I started writing this letter, there wereonly a few days left of 2010. I was reflectingback over the past 6 months and the eventsthat were available to us to attend on both astate and national level. And I can personallysay that youre missing out if you dont attendas many of these events as you can.

We were very pleased to see a familiarSenate face we havent seen in awhile at our2nd Quarter MeetingDeanna Malinowski#60050. Since we were in her backyard, she

decided to stop by and visit on Friday night. Itwas great to see her and we hope to see heragain at our 3rd Quarter Meeting next month.Speaking of our 3rd Quarter Meetingwerehosting this event at the Ramada OrlandoCelebration Resort & Convention Center inKissimmee on February 46, 2011. PresidentArwen Pritchett and the Florida Jaycees will behosting their Year End Convention alongsideus in Kissimmee. Having these twoorganizations meeting together is always a

good thing!I hear our Administrative VP, Bill Orr#38326, has a football theme planned for ourHospitality Suite to get you revved up for SuperBowl XLV. As always, he will have a fun menuplanned and no doubt activities you canparticipate in.

If youre looking for something fun to do thismonth, think about joining CC and I, along withseveral other FL Senators, in Nashville, TN onJan. 2123 for the US JCI Senate Mid-YearMeeting. Well be there to support Co-ChairsKay Elliott-White and Cindy Brandel as theypromote the US JCI Year End NationalConvention that Florida will be hosting in June2012 in Altamonte Springs. Also keep thedates of June 1217 open to attend the 2011

US JCI Senate Year End Convention inNaperville, IL. Our very own Steve Sutherland#27073 is running for the position of US JCISenate President and wouldnt it be great forSteve to look out into the crowd and see manyfriendly faces from the FL JCI Senate?

    JCI Senators Foundation ofFlorida Inc.

Hello all, the last quarter was a not agreat one for the FL Senate Foundation. Therewere no new members and no currentmembers increased their level of giving. I knowwe are in difficult financial times; but, we needto do much better if we want to continue givingscholarships to deserving high school seniors. Iknow that many of our quarterly donators werenot able to make the November meeting inOrlando and didnt make their usualcontributions. Hopefully they will make up forthis with double their usual donations inFebruary.
