Sales Planning

IKONSOFT sales planning allows manufacturers turn inventory management into a competitive

advantage. Sales planning incorporates multiple Forecasting offers proven statistical, collaborative,

and top-down forecasting approaches, including calculation of forecasts from history either at end unit

or subassembly level, manually generated demand, and other inventory drivers such as safety stock,

and displays variances between actual and forecast demand. IKONSOFT sales planning optimizes

inventory levels, without decreasing service levels. Sales planning in IKONSOFT also include analytictools to recognize early trends and compare actual demand to what was forecasted.

Sales

In IKONSOFT, the sales process is represented, starting with creation of an opportunity or quote,

Scheduling

Scheduling material and production capacities is one of the core tasks of an ERP system and is a central

Production

and subassemblies, from their raw or initial stage to the finished product stage in an organized and

efficient manner. By detailed controlling of the production processes, users can reduce lead time,

decrease stock levels and increase the transparency and level of information. IKONSOFT supports

different production procedures: mass production, series production, small batch production, sales

order related production. Using the IKONSOFT Business App for production provides a role-based

overview of all relevant processes in one overview – including due dates, materials and capacity.

IKONSOFT ERP Production-Planning-Control Module provides capabilities for planning, execution, and

quality and plant maintenance. Production Plan in IKONSOFT ERP is determined based on Resource

Planning, Sales and Operation Planning and Demand of the Product. Having determined the

The framework of Production Planning and Control in IKONSOFT is general, and all the three phases

must be performed. It supports the strategy and tactics pursued by the firm in which they are

implemented.

Materials Management

In materials management, IKONSOFT supports multiple warehouses with user defined locations, both

actual and virtual, within each warehouse for recording receipts, issues and stores. Inventory

movements can be effected between locations and warehouses. Inventory counts, transfers andInventory adjustments are managed by recording movements and changes. Material Replenishment

lists are created based on inventory replenishment rules, sales, and target planning of inventory levels.

IKONSOFT ERP's MRP gives you an instant picture of projected inventory investment levels, as well as

projected new purchases in accordance with your plan. Projections can be made on any MRP cycle. Thisprovides an added dimension of visibility for directing the planning focus on the most significant areas

of your investment. This also helps you to validate a plan financially and make swift adjustments before

committing your cash.

IKONSOFT’s ERP's Material Requirements Planning or MRP assists you in getting material on hand

when needed for production or sales. The four basic information provided by the IKONSOFT MRP

module are: informing you (1) when to place an order, (2) how much quantity to be ordered, (2) who

should be the supplier and (4) when the items to be delivered to you.

Service processing

Service management in IKONSOFT provides for after-market service and transactions to provide

complete customer satisfaction over the product lifecycle. Whether the service is on-site or for product

returns, IKONSOFT supports the complete aftermarket service process. From initial customer contact

to completed repairs or planned maintenance, to repair work orders, IKONSOFT is a total solution.

IKONSOFT also allows for service and transaction management of serialized parts down to the bill of

material level.

IKONSOFT ERP Service Management module is to log and render timely support to the customers aftersales. The module helps to meet the demand of customers by providing them the facility to access

information and answer to the service request. By implementing this module the customer is supported

by round-the-clock service by us. This feature facilitates all necessary information and solutions the

customers required to help themselves, anytime and anywhere.

The customer can log the support call; these calls can be assigned to the respective site engineers. The

site engineers view all calls allotted them. After the call is attended and addressed, ability for site

engineers to capture the call information available in this module. Furthermore, customer can view this

product information, support agreement and support call status. Any spare part required for this call

can be requested by the site engineer. The service management module also allows creating service

invoice and spare part invoice.

Material valuations

Material valuation assesses quantitative movements within the materials management process,

recording these movements as financial entries whenever stock levels change. A preview of entries can

be generated without affecting financial accounting. The establishment of an unfinished products

inventory is also possible, as well as the valuation of manufacturing costs. If valuation prices are not

available when a quantity is entered, then a revaluation is updated through the material valuation once

the price becomes available. Material costs determined by material valuation are then transferred to

cost accounting.

Bill of Materials (BoM)

Bills of Materials (BOM) are normally accessed according to production or procurement deadlines. The History

Management function allows several types of BOM to be managed simultaneously, and can be operated accordingto the needs of the customer. Single Level Bills of materials and Multi Level Bills of Material can be generated in

IKONSOFT ERP. For each manufactured line item on a WO, the system provides a bill of materials (BOM) and

routing. In the single Level bill of materials only those subordinate components can be captured that are

immediately required to manufacture the product.

The multiple BOM concept aids the management of a variety of similar BOMs (variant problem). Common

components of similar BOMs are recorded in a 'Reference BOM-M' while components specific to individual BOMs

are recorded in a separate 'Single Level BOM-M'. In this way, the BOM of a given material consists of a combination

of data referring to common and individual components.

The advantage of this function is that changes of (data regarding) common components need only be carried outin the Reference BOM-M. The data of BOMs is automatically shown against the work orders providing the ability

to include configured items on a WO's BOM.

This gives the stores department to check if the stock of materials is available for a product manufacturing or

batch manufacturing. Once the individual customer order is entered, it specifies how much components are

required, the quantity including wastage and at what level of production the components will be required.

IKONSOFT ERP Bills of Materials are completely integrated into the system and support:

The procurement of materials at the optimum time (Material Requirement Planning module)

The placing of production orders (Production Planning and Control Module)

The issue of goods (Inventory Management Module)

Costing

IKONSOFT includes a number of flexible tools for costing standard products and custom products on

individual transactions. There are multiple costing methodologies that can be set at the product level.

Preliminary costing, simultaneous costing and final costing can be maintained and comparisons made

of actual costs to estimated costs. Costing can also help you schedule, when determining delivery times

by rolling up schedule times from a BOM.

IKONSOFT ERP Cost Management feature provides visibility of cost at a single market place. Withcompetition increasing the pressure on margins, your business needs accurate and detailed

manufacturing cost reporting for effective business management. IKONSOFT ERP provides extensive

depreciation history, access related documents, view journal history, tax data, maintenance records

Cost accounting

IKONSOFT cost accounting utilizes cost types, cost centres and cost objects to create multi-dimensional

accounting. This creates multi-level, multi-dimensional P&L views of any aspect of a business. The cost

centre accounting includes an automatic allocation function (IAAA- Internal Account Activity

Allocation). In addition to IAAA, overheads can be posted to the cost objects, creating a truer profit

analysis than traditional work order costing. Cost centre accounting can be structured according to the

flexible standard costing principle, even to reflect work breakdown structures. Cost accounting

integrates data from diverse modules such as financial and fixed asset accounting. Using the “Material

valuation” and the “Valuation of production activity” modules, it also integrates data from material

valuation and production areas.

and product-centric documents – can be archived and attached to multiple records. External

documents, like emails, PDFs, CAD drawings, and other information about your business, are archived,

managed and comprehensive. These documents are always available through the ERP system.

Documents created in IKONSOFT can be automatically archived. A comprehensive MS Office

integration allows for the archiving of emails, MS Word and MS Excel files in their original format or as

TIF files to create an auditable document archive.
