"...How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" Romans 10:15
The things that remind us of spring are wonderful things. To me, they are happy things. That include even the clouds that come with the rain. I guess that's because after a long winter, I'm ready for all those signs of spring to come drifting to the scene. I wish sometimes we as Christians could come drifting in more with that touch of spring in our steps. We have the Truth of the risen Christ and it should spill out in our lives. When we meet people, we should be like a ray of sunshine because we have good news of a great and mighty God to share. Our steps should have a bounce to them!
We Should Have A Spring In Our Step Because... 1. God Gives Us Wings To Fly. (Butterfly) 2. God Gives Us Food For Growth. (Green Leaf) 3. God Gives Us A Song. (Bird) 4. God Gives Us All The Tools We Need. (Garden Tool) 5. God Gives Us His Presence In The Storms. (Clouds) 6. God Gives Us His Protection. (Umbrella) 7. God Gives Us His Creation. (Bug Hut/Butterfly Net) 8. God Gives Us A
Command. (Seed Packet)
Adapted from Spring in your Step by Julia Bettencourt
Conclusion: This is something we all need to work on. I do not want to live my life miserable. We have a loving and almighty God that loves us and is there for us each day. We have to remember that God is our Maker. I hope that I can be just the breath of fresh air that can touch another life because of what Christ has done for me and is doing in my life.
So, do you have a spring
in your step?
Blessings, Rev. April

White HairWhite HairWhite HairWhite Hair
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head. She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?" Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white." The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are
white?"
