Personal Workflow Settings: Background

• Why do we need them?

– One workflow log or one work item display is not enough since various user categories work with it, for example:

• Workflow modelers and administrators (require access to all technical information, such as containers, work item IDs, step numbers, all step types, etc.)

• Workflow end users (no technical details, focused on the content of the work item, confused by too much functionality, etc.)

• What functionality is involved?

• Administrator sets the default on a system-wide basis

• Every user can then personalize their own settings
