I have been praying that the Lord would continue to convict us and to change us, so that we may reflect more and more the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. With this in mind and through much prayer and spending time before our Lord, I sense His leading us to a season of preparation for Easter. On April 6, I will share about the holiness of God and our response to His holiness during the combined Sunday school in the sanctuary. During the worship service I will share with you what the Lord has been teaching me about prayer and fasting for repentance. On April 13 our focus during the worship service will be the price paid by the Lord Jesus on the cross. On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate together His resurrection. F ROM THE P ASTOR :

Living Holy Lives As we finish our study of 2 Peter this coming Sunday, the apostle's question should make us reflect on our lives: “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people

ought you to be?” (3:11). Then he answered his own question, “Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace” (3:14).

Peter comes full circle from where he started in his letter, “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own

glory and goodness” (1:3). If we are truly believers, our lives, our conduct will reflect our new nature.

I sense God has been using 2 Peter to convict us of our sins and our rebellion and return to him. I have been praying that the Lord would continue to convict us and to change us, so

that we may reflect more and more the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. With this in mind and through much prayer and spending time before our Lord, I sense His leading us to a season

of preparation for Easter.

On April 6, I will share about the holiness of God and our response to His holiness during the

combined Sunday school in the sanctuary. During the worship service I will share with you what the Lord has been teaching me about prayer and fasting for repentance. On April 13

our focus during the worship service will be the price paid by the Lord Jesus on the cross. On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate together His resurrection. A synopsis:

April 6 Preparing our Hearts

April 13 Focus on the Cross

April 20 Celebrating the Lord's Resurrection

Please join me in praying that the Holy Spirit will breathe a fresh wind in our lives.

Ladies Night Out

Monday, April 7th

6pm at Olive Garden

Pastor Jay Kim and the Hope Korean Baptist Church are offering Korean Language Classes each Saturday from Noon—2PM here at CHBC. They meet in the classroom behind the church offices. Classes are open to all ages! Come check it out!

Thanks to all who have given donations to our fund for our Philippine Frontliner families to attend the MSV Conference in May. Our goal is to raise at least $3000 by the end of April to fund the expenses of our Frontliner Partners travel and related expenses to the conference. Our Missions Sunday on March 23rd was such a blessing as we heard presentations from several local mission ministries. And we enjoyed a wonderful time at our fundraising Lunch and Pie Auction afterwards.

What a blessing to announce that to date we have received $2900

for our Frontliner families! Praise the Lord for your generosity in par-ticipating, giving, and praying.

Saturday, April 12th at 8:30 at 6572 Spy Glass Dr.

(Home of Candy Blackwood)
