Staffed by our Zoning Administrator, the DRB is charged with con-ducting formal hear-ings on developments in a fair and unbiased manner. At their hear-ings, the Board takes testimony, reviews evi-dence, and renders de-cisions in accord with our regulations. In gen-eral, the DRB meets twice a month. There are two vacancies for 3 year terms and 2 alter-nate seats for a 1 year term available.

Regional Planning Commission

This Commission con-sists of 2 members from each town in the Frank-lin/Grand Isle region. It is commissioned to plan for regional proj-ects, bylaws, town plans etc. This com-mission meets monthly at Northwest Regional Planning Commission. There are 2 positions for 1 year terms avail-able.

State Correctional Center Liaison

CommitteeThis committee meets on a quarterly basis with the Superintendent of the Northwest Cor-rectional Facility and then reports back to the Selectboard. There are 3 positions for 1 year terms available.
