A Milestone Year for our Family:Happy 2011! This seems to be the year of milestones for our family. The numbers 15, 13, and
10 are big ones for us this year. The number 15 is for the years of marriage for Heather and I.
Time sure does fly when youre in love. The number 13 is the age Drew will be this year. We
will have a teenager in the house and I get the feeling things are changing. And the number 10
is for the years of service our family will have served in Thailand. It has been an honor and
privilege to be His witnesses in a land that desperately needs it. It hasnt been without itschallenges, but Gods grace has been our motivation.

15 YEARS OF MARRIAGE AND ENJOYING IT!
It is hard to believe that March 16th, Heather
and I will have been married for 15 years. I
can honestly say that my love for Heather has
grown over these many years, and more than
that, is still growing. She is my best friend and
I wouldnt be the husband, father, servant,
leader, I am today without her friendship andencouragement. .....

13 YEARS OLD: TEENAGE STAGE
August 6th, Andrew will turn 13. Our
conversations these days are beginning to
include the opposite sex a lot more. Actually, I
just came out of his room talking to him about
this. One of the girls had sent him a text
message about liking him. She is a .....Continued on Page 2

10 YEARS IN THAILAND: OUR PRIVILEGE
Can it be? It doesnt seem like it but in May, it
will be our 10 year anniversary in Bangkok. It
has definitely been an adventure and I am sure
we arent the same people as when we arrived.
We have had the privilege of telling, .....

15 YEARS OF MARRIAGE (CONTINUED)
She has been a great mom to our kids and she
has persevered through a lot of changes and
adjustments that must be made living in
another culture. I am so thankful that God
gave her to me 15 years ago. My prayer is that
our marriage would continue to reflect the
beauty of Christ, in our obedience as well as
our weaknesses.
13 YEARS OLD (CONTINUED)
7th grader and Drew is only in the 6th grade.
Jacob, our middle child, just turned 11 years
old, so we have at least 2 more years (ha!) for
his coming of age. Hopefully, both the boys
will be in Westminster Schools (Augusta, Ga.)
in the fall. They will enjoy being in the States
for a little while and they have friends they
made the last time we were on home
assignment. And it will be Amelia Claires first
year of public school. She will be in 1st
grade. She is looking forward to the States as
well. She misses her extended family.
Prayer Requests:
1. For the discipleship groupsthat are forming in ourpartner churches
2. For Spirit filled relationshipson our team
3. For campus ministry effortsthat are winding down forsummer term (Adisarn,Gay, Awm, Tote)
4. Our parenting would helpour children understandGod in the context of anintimate relationship
5. For wisdom and influencefor the many opportunitieswe have this year to share

showing, teaching, training and
sharing the gospel with many Thai
people. Sometimes we wonder how
much of a difference we can make in
a country with only .05 percent
Christian, but we look back over these
past 10 years and we are so grateful
and humbled to have been a part of
redemptive history in this country. It
has been an honor to invest in
individuals as well as local churches, to
help our Thai brothers and sisters
reach out to their families and friendsand be the light in the darkness. We
arent sure how many more years we
will be here in Thailand (hopefully
many), but we pray for God to do
more. More discipleship, more
changed lives, more life evangelism/
more community engagement and
more of Gods mercy and grace. Pray
with us Psalm 90:17.
In His Hands,
Ronnie and Heather
