There is a strong workbench with 6 shelves under. Also in this compartment there is a 4 drawer unit which rolls forward to give access to the tiller flat. OWNERS COMMENTS

MAIN ENGINE, GEARBOX & PROPSHAFT The engine was removed overhauled and refitted onto new bearers and anti-vibration mountings. It was professionally rebuilt in 2004/05, which included NEW pistons and liners, crankshaft reground; thrust rings, main and big end bearings and water pump. The cylinder head was crack-tested & re-faced, valves faced and reground, new gaskets throughout. Sump modified to aid servicing and provided with a deep two section S/S drip tray beneath. The high pressure diesel pump and injectors were also serviced. For safety the front of the engine is protected by a custom made aluminum guard. A stainless steel grab rail is positioned on the port side of the engine. This stalwart engine has very low running hours, is very easy starting under all conditions ~ it simply wants to run, tick-over 500rpm, 50psi oil pressure, lightest blue haze when running just as a 565 should have, engine stop modified to solenoid, custom made engine controls in engine room. The gearbox was examined, found to be almost new, serviced and reinstalled. The original propshaft was poorly supported and running out of true, this was replaced with a S/S shaft during 2005 and fitted with new plumber blocks, FAG self-centering split thrust bearing (www.fag.de/...fag...split_bearings/do.shop) and also provided with, immediately behind the gearbox an ‘R & D’ Marine coupling, ( www.randdmarine.com/ )and aft of the thrust bearing a ‘Tyre Coupling’ (Google www.easyflex.in/pdff/tyrecoupling.pdf A remote shaft bearing greaser was manufactured and fitted. TANKS All tanks are double welded ~ (that is to say the tank is welded inside and out prior to the lid being welded on) and made from 3mm 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel. CARPENTRY Is to an excellent standard and features a high degree of detail in its completion. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS All in test and will be examined for serviceability prior to sale,
