Thesis: Seismic fragility analysis of a primary containment structure using IDA

o A simplified 2D mathematical model incorporating shear behaviour was developed for a nuclear inner containment structure of an Indian PHWR and analysed for a set of seismic ground motions in OpenSEES.
o Probability of failure of the structure was estimated for deformation based limit states. o Parametric optimisation of the probability distribution of deformation was carried out as a continuation
of the project in later period.
