Common HR dataload errors

1. Field symbol

Error message in BW (example with source system QA HR G55) : Error in source system G55QARH402 (Message no. RSAR502, With Remote Function Call to system G55QARH402 error Field symbol has not been assigned. ccurred.)

Error in source system : Shortdump in G55 with message GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED_RANGE

III. Resolution :

a. Run program Z_RS_SCRSYSTEM_R3_CHECK in R3 and program Z_RS_SCRSYS-TEM_BW_CHECK in BW (as described in OSS note 493422) Correct any errors

b. If problem persists, raise MySap to Basis to ask to investigate RFC connection (as de-scribed in OSS message 24744)

2. RSAQ_QUERY_REPORT

I. Extractors

Any extractor based on an infoset

Example : YGTJOB_PSPG_ATTR YGTPOS_PSPG_ATTR

II. Error messages

Error message in BW : "Internal Error RSAQ_QUERY_REPORT"

Error in source system : none

III. Resolution

Run RSA3 for failing extractor, you should get an error message :

If you click on Display log, you should see the same error message as in BW :

Run RSA3 again, you'll be taken to another screen :

Type 01 in the Plan version field and click Execute

The extraction is now going to run ok

3. Load hangs in yellow

I. Extractors

Any, but typically 0HR_PA_CM_2

II. Error messages

Error message in BW : None, monitor just displays the application log which shows a lot of records with warnings

Error in source system : none

III. Resolution

Go in the monitor for that infopackage and menu path > Settings > Evaluation of requests

Select "is judged to be successful". By default, the setting is "undecided"

4. Time management extractors bring 0 record back

5. 'No log found in the database'

I. Extractors

Program RSSB_GENERATE_AUTHORIZATIONS

II. Error messages

Program ends with message BL208 'No log found in the database' without the authorisations being generated. The user id the program is being run with has SAP ALL access.

III. Resolution

Tick Generating authorisations and click on display :
