Tess is a lovely 2005 60’ Liverpool Boats reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat. She has been well looked after and her condition reflects this. From the 6’ stern deck with comfortable seating and protected by a pram hood, you enter the galley area. The work tops in here are Corian resin (one side has cracks), there is plenty of cupboard space, and the utilities comprise of a 230v fridge with icebox, 230v freezer, microwave and a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill. A single sided pullman dinette with side hatch opposite, the saloon follows. This is open plan with a futon sofa-bed. There is a Villager Heron solid fuel stove in here along with good shelf and cupboard space along with wiring and self seeking satellite services for a television. A corridor on the starboard side leads to the bathroom. This feels luxurious and spacious as it has a sliding door and has a large glass door corner shower cubicle, cupboards & shelves for linen, a heated towel rail, a macerator pumpout loo, a Porta Potti and a ceramic counter sunk basin over a vanity unit. The bedroom is in the forward cabin. The fixed double berth has large drawers under and lots of cupboard space over. There is a double wardrobe at the foot of the bed with a corner dressing table opposite. On board central heating is fired by an Eberspacher diesel system heating 3 radiators and the towel rail, and 230v is sourced via a Victron 3000 inverter. Hot water is sourced via either the Eberspacher, engine or immersion heater. She is propelled by an Isuzu 42. A hull survey in 2017 is available for inspection.
