Nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Holmes Mill is an old textile mill which dates back to 1823. Keeping loyal to its industrial roots our Cotton Room bears all the natural textured walls, exposed beams and period character that you would expect from a building that has lasted the decades.

With a few added extras to bring the venue to the modern day, you will find industrial inspired props, all beautifully framed using draped Edison bulbs adding further rustic accent to the historical feel of the space.

We are licensed to host up to 150 guests for your civil ceremony, simply contact the local Registrar to discuss the

Occupying the original Spinning Block at Holmes Mill, The 1823 Bistro, Bar & Grill oozes sophistication with Art Deco features and plenty of industrial charm. The affectionately named Bistro Alley makes the perfect backdrop for

your wedding photography, with its romantic festoon lighting.

It’s all in the detail...Our wedding venue is able to accommodate 50 – 150 seated guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 180 guests for your evening reception. We are fully licensed to hold your Civil Ceremony and for all your chosen entertainment, however PAT testing certificates and PLI are required from DJ’s & artists.

All provisional bookings are valid for two weeks after which point the booking must either be confirmed or released. All our wedding packages are completely bespoke, we do however have a minimum spend requirement that differs by day.

Monday – Thursday minimum spend* £1500Friday & Sunday minimum spend* £3500Saturday and Bank Holiday weekends minimum spend* £5000

There is a 39-bedroomed hotel on the Holmes Mill complex. Rooms are subject to availability and payment is required on booking. Please pop in to discuss with reception or contact the hotel on 01200 407111.
