Cultural Academy is inviting art and literary works from Syro Malabar community
SMCA wish you all a happy and prosperous year 2014 !!
How many times have you scribbled thoughts in the formof poems and stories and hid
them away in your notebook ? Haven't you felt like writing your experiences when visiting aplacing or going through an important lifeevent? Don't you want to tell the world about all theamazing riddles and jokes you made up?Here is an opportunity foryou.
SyroMalabar Cultural academy is working behind the scenes to collect and combine yourartistictalents and literary contributions in the form of a magazine. This is something theacademy can offer you tohelp showcase your hidden talents and bring it to the light. Sogetyour pen, pencil, brush or camera and create that master piece today!
First- We need you to design the cover page for the magazine. The last date to submit your
cover page to enter the competition is 10th February 2014. An committee of expert judgeswill evaluate and choose the finalist for the cover page of magazine.
After that , we need your original contributions to the magazine. This can be anything as listedbelow, Short stories, mini-stories, poems, Jokes, riddles, travel descriptions, travelexperiences,life experiences,cooking recipes , tips to help with beauty and kitchen, drawingsand paintings, photography, Essays on health, science, education, sports, movies etc. Literaryworks can be in either English and Malayalam. Anyone can participate from the SyroMalabarcathedral community. There is no agerestriction. This is our magazine, the creation oftheSyroMalabar cathedral church and Cultural academy -here tomake this dream a reality.
