II. QUALIFICATIONS:



1) Clerk-cum-Cashiers

(a) BA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.B.M/BCA degree of a Recognized University with aminimum of 50% marks in aggregate for all candidates.

2) Clerk-cum-Stenographers

Qualification : Graduation with Senior Typewriting & Senior Shorthand both inEnglish and Kannada having knowledge of Computer.

3) Any Degree/Technical Degree other than those specified above will not beconsidered and such applications will be rejected.

4) Preference will be given to those Candidates who have qualification and

experience in Co-operation subjects.

5) Computer knowledge is essential for all the above posts.

III. NO. OF POSTS:

The number of posts at present are 77 and the Bank reserves the right to

increase/decrease the no. of posts at the time of recruitment as per requirement.

IV) AGE LIMIT

As on 11-06-2012, the Candidates should have attained the age of 18 years andshould not have crossed the age of 38 years in case of SC/ST/Category –I, 36years in case of other Backward castes/Backward Communities and 33 years incase of General candidates.

V) APPLICATION FORM & FEE

a) The application in the prescribed format may be down loaded from theBank’s Website (www.karnatakaapex.com).

b) The non-refundable application fee of Rs.300/- in case of General Merit& other backward caste/community viz., category 2A, 2B, 3A & 3Bcandidates and Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST/Category – I and Ex-Servicemen

candidates in the form of DD/PO payable at Bangalore favouring “ TheCHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, KSC Apex Bank Ltd., Bangalore” shall beenclosed to the application. Otherwise such applications will be rejected.

c) Written Test and interview will be conducted to the eligible candidates.Details are furnished at the Bank Website (www.karnatakaapex.com)



d) The Candidates who will be called for Written Test/Interview/skill test,shall attend at their own cost and no TA/DA will be paid by the Bank.

e) The candidates who have already applied within time for one ST Backlogpost of Clerk-cum-Stenographer in response to our Notification No.CEO/Est/Recruitment/ 2011-12, dated 25-11-2011, need not apply again.

f) Completed Application in a closed Envelope superscribing “Application forthe post of Clerk-cum-Cashier/Clerk-cum-Stenographer/ST Backlog” may be

sent along with the copies of the required certificates and fee addressed toThe CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & MEMBER SECRETARY, RECRUITMENTCOMMITTEE, KSC Apex Bank Ltd., No. 1, Pampamahakavi Road,Chamarajpet, Bangalore – 560 018 by post/courier so as to reach on orbefore 11-06-2012 by 5.30 pm. INSTRUCTIONS

a) Certificates to be submitted along with the application :-

1. Candidates belonging to SC/ST - - Form No.D

2. Candidates belonging to Category - 1 – Form E

3. Candidates belonging to Category - 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B - Form F

4. Physically handicapped - as per concerned Notification ofGovernment

5. General Merit candidates applying under Rural quota – Declaration form that they do notbelong to creamy layer.- Form No.1

6. Rural candidates – Form No. .2

7. Candidates belonging to Project displaced persons – Certificate issued as per concernedNotification of Government .

8. Kannada Medium candidates : Certificate obtained from School Head Master/Mistressalong with seal for having studied in the School in Kannada Medium.

9. In case of Ex-Servicemen - Relieving Certificate issued by concerned Authority.



10. Candidates who are claiming the above benefits should submit therequired documents.

b) Non-production of required Certificates/Testimonials, Self attested/Attested by GazettedOfficers along with the application will result in the rejection of the application.

c) The candidates selected shall be on probation for a period of one year and the selectedcandidates shall pay a Security Deposit of Rs.20,000/- to the Bank in cash and IndemnityBond for Rs.50,000/-

d) The number of posts at present are 77 and the Bank reserves the right toincrease/decrease the no. of posts at the time of recruitment based on requirement.

e) Mode of selection

(1) Clerk-cum-Cashier

Selection will be made on the basis of Written Test & interview. On the basis of totalMarks obtained in the qualified Degree Examinations, the Candidates will be called forwritten examination in a specified ratio. The subjects for Written Examination will be asfollows : -

Based on the marks obtained in the Written Examination, candidates will be called forinterview in a specified ratio.

(2) Clerk-cum-Stenographer :-

Written Test will be conducted as at (1) above. Based on the marks obtained inthe Written Examination, candidates will be called for interview in a specified ratio andbefore interview skill test in Typing & Shorthand will be conducted.

(3) Syllabus for written Examination Consisting of Co-operation & Banking

subject.

1. History of co-operative movement2. Role of co-operative Societies in economic structure of the Country

3. Formation of Co-operative Societies, Administration, functioning & accounts

maintenance.4. Co-operative credit structure5. Law of Co-operative Societies6. Banking Regulation Act7. Negotiable Instrument Act8. Companies Act9. Reserve Bank of India/NABARD Act.

(4) Special grace mark of 01 will be given to the Candidates at the time of Interviewwho have passed Degree/Diploma/Post-graduate in Co-operation subjects.

(5) For all the posts mentioned above, selection will be made only after totaling the

marks obtained in Written Examination and marks obtained in the interview in aspecified ratio by following merit & Reservation.



(6) The Candidates who have called for Written Test/Interview shall attend

at their own cost and no TA/DA will be paid by the Bank.

f) The Bank is having every right to reject/cancel the recruitment process without assigningany reason.

g) The Banks decision in this regard is final and it is binding on all candidates.

h) The candidates who have already applied in time for one ST backlog post of

Clerk-cum-Stenographer in response to our Notification No.CEO/Est/Recruitment/ 2011-12, dated 25-12-2011, need not apply again.

i) Prescribed applications shall be downloaded from the Banks Website andFilled in application shall be sent through post/Courier only. Applications willnot be accepted in person.
