Logos and slogans

In 1987, Microsoft launched a logo called "PacmanLogo" designed by Scott Baker.." Dave Norris, aMicrosoft employee, ran an internal joke campaign tosave the old logo, which was green, in all uppercase,and featured a fanciful letter O, nicknamed theblibbet, but it was discarded.

Microsoft's logo with the "Your potential. Ourpassion." tagline below the main corporate name, isbased on the slogan Microsoft had as of 2008. In2002, the company started using the logo in theUnited States and eventually started a TV campaignwith the slogan, changed from the previous tagline of"Where do you want to go today?."
