A big thank you from the P&C to the Year 2 and 3 parents for organising what will be a great night for the kids. School Bands Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to the Band Committee and Staff for providing a quality program for our children to enjoy. Term 3 Performances Senior Band 24 August - All Saints Church Fete 25 August - Australian School Band & Orchestra Festival Junior and Intermediate Band 4 Sept - Y3-6 Performance Night All Bands 15 September - Band Jam Waste-Free Wednesday Thank you to our entire BRPS team, teachers, staff and children, for getting on board. But especially the parents for the support for Waste-Free Wednesday which kicked off yesterday. This is an initiative to make a difference and create a positive environmental change that directly involves the children. It brings to life what they have learnt from both school and home. The basics of a waste free lunch box is using reusable containers or packaging. This could be bento style lunch boxes, smaller containers, reusable wraps, or even recyclable paper bags. We appreciate that package free lunches can be tricky, let’s face it making lunch boxes any day can be a bit of a repetitive chore, so we are looking to add tips in the Bulletin for ideas and inspiration.

Waste-free Wednesday Tip #1

Make sandwiches into mini roll ups - maybe filled with salad or vegemite and cheese. I’m sure your tips or website suggestions would be much better, so please email them to [email protected] Secretary Vacancy Thank you to Rowena Twyman for helping in the absence of a Secretary. This vital role remains vacant. This is a chance to support your child's school and P&C and to have a voice in decisions of the P&C. Meetings are held in the evenings. General meetings are once a term. This time allows for many parents to be involved. For more information, please email [email protected] Happy Term Two.
