I'm Marcela and I've got the best job in the world. I get to travelto beautiful places all over the world and bear witness toawesome couples just like you as they share their vows with theirfavorite person. It's not a bad gig.  

I've been a photographer since 2015 and shoot anywhere from20-30 weddings and elopements, depending on the year. So I'veshot over 100 weddings at this point in my career! I amconstantly humbled that this is what I get to call my job. I'mdumb lucky, right? But the truth is that I've worked hard toeduate myself and learn all that I could to best capture your dayand not fuck it up. It's a privilege that I don't take lightly!

HOW MANY IMAGES CAN WE EXPECT? For a full wedding day I say you canexpect ~100 Images per hour of coverage(so 600 images for 6 hours, etc).For an elopement, 150+For an engagement session, 60+

CAN WE PROVIDE A SHOT LIST?If I'm looking at (and thinking about) ashot list on the day of, it's going todistract from what's happening In frontof me. Don't worry, I'll capture all thedetails and moments.

WHAT'S YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?I pride myself on having vibrant, earthyand warm tones In my word. Between thefads of bright & airy or dark & moody, I'dsay I'm somewhere happily in between.My shooting style Is more documentarybased with artistic portraiture to create awell-balanced gallery that tells the storyof your wedding day.

HELP! WE FEEL SUPER AWKWARD INFRONT OF THE CAMERA, WHAT DO WEDO?Listen, I GET IT! Having your photo takenis super weird and uncomfortable! Butdon't fret, if you need a little liquidcourage (booze) to help you get throughthe session, please throw back somewhiskey or mezcal. Don't let youranxieties get the best of you, we're hereto just have some fun and get some dopephotos out of It. 95% of my clients saidthe same thing, so you're in good hands ;)

DO WE NEED A SECOND SHOOTER? I would only recommend a secondphotographer for big weddings of 150+guests or if you and your partner andgetting ready in distant locations.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WEBOOK?Anywhere between 8-18 months Is Ideal!Yeah, we wedding photographers bookout roughly a year In advance. But Itnever hurts to reach out and ask!

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT TO GET OURIMAGES?I know you're super excited to see yourImages... and I'm just as excited to sharethem with you! Weddings are deliveredwithin 8 weeks and portrait sessions aredelivered within 4 weeks.

DO YOU SHOOT VIDEO?I'm afraid not, photo Is my main focus.But If you're looking for a videographerjust let me know and I can send you a listof my favorite videographers that I'veworked with!

CAN WE BRING OUR DOGS/ANIMALS?Absolutely, YES! Please bring your pets!
