    85g unsalted butter/margarine 170g self raising flour

    Jar of jam or lemon curd

    Ingredients

    Preheat your oven to200°C or Gas Mark 6.1

    Cut the butter ormargarine into smallpieces.

    Sieve the flour into abowl and add thebutter/margarine.

    Rub the mixturetogether until it lookslike breadcrumbs.

    Stir in cold water atablespoon at a timeto make a soft dough.

    Roll out the dough ontoa flour-covered worktopuntil about 4mm thick.Cut out about 15 doughcircles.

    7Put the pastry circlesinto a cupcake tin andadd a teaspoon of jamto each.

    8Cook the tarts in theoven for 20-25 minutesuntil the pastry isgolden.
