The outer circular highway project to the city f Colombo is 11km long, of which 1032 nos of 1500mm diameter bored piles will be constructed by the winch machine.

The position of the proposed pile will be set out by survey team in accordance with approved pile layout plans and related construction drawings. The procedure for setting out will be as follows

4.1 Summary

During 12 weeks of my training experience in ABCs Pvt. Ltd, I was able to involve with site work, laboratory work as well as the administrative and office work.

4.2 Conclusions

At the University, we were taught many theories and given chances to do several practical, experiments and tests to understand the concepts.
