2018 Summer School HS Credit Recovery & Get Ahead Program

Credit Recovery Courses ***(All courses must be done by July 20th)***★ The Mahoning County Educational Service Center is hosting a summer high school

credit recovery program. This program utilizes web-based curriculum and self-paced courses (See course list on next page). Courses may take an average of 40-50 instructional hours to complete, depending upon students’ motivation and ability. Credit Recovery courses=$100 for each ½ credit course ($200 for 1 credit)

Get Ahead Courses ***(All courses must be done by July 20th)***★ This year, MCESC is providing an opportunity for students to take courses to get ahead

too. These courses are also online, but have MCESC teachers as instructors. Students will email teacher with any questions during course. These type courses=$175 for each ½ credit course ($350 for 1 credit)

Registration Information:★ Completed form DUE by June 11th. Students can take an unlimited amount of courses,

but prior to beginning a course, the course must be ‘district approved’ and ‘paid in full’. Fees are NONREFUNDABLE once a student begins the course. ALL courses must be completed by July 20th. ***All courses must be done by July 20th***

DATES: June 12 through July 20 (two three week long semesters) ***NO EXTENSIONS***Optional Lab Hours: Monday through Thursday (Closed Fridays) 10am-2pm. Students will work from home as the website is available 24/7 via the Internet (peak.getfueled.com).
