Term IntroductionHistory is a constantly evolving story that has had many climactic events which have shaped our world today. These events often get thought of as separate stories with little to no connection to each other. In this first term of World History, we will be studying different historical event that revolutionized our way of thinking and brought on the modern age. We will look at how these events link together and explore their greater significance.

How we evaluate historical events will also affect our opinions about contemporary issues, as many historical events share the same value conflicts as many of the issues today. We will begin building many of the skills necessary to make an educated evaluation of history. Skills such source evaluation, understanding multiple perspectives, historical empathy, and formulating an effective argument.
