Prerequisites:1. Honors Algebra II (Final Grade of B or higher); or Algebra II (Final Grade of A) 2. Honors Chemistry (Final Grade of B or higher)

If your math skills are weak, you should not be in this course. If you have any doubts or questions about this course or your preparation for it, you are strongly urged to consult the instructor as soon as possible.

Attendance:Attendance is expected of all students during regular lecture time and lab time. I will not re-teach material to you because you missed class. You are expected to make up all missing notes from your lab partners. If you miss a lab you will not receive credit for that lab. You should notify me if you plan to miss class, be tardy, or leave class early.

AP Chemistry Workshop:I will make myself available to AP Chemistry students every Monday from 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM. Students can use this time to ask me questions about our current studies or use it to finish labs. Students find this time very useful when they come to workshop prepared with specific questions.

Grading:All exams will be curved and weighted in the 90% category. Quizzes will not be curved and will also be weighted in the 90% category. There are no exam or quiz retakes in AP Chemistry. Labs and homework will be weighted in the 10% category.
