PRIVATE EVENTS INFORMATION

Event Proposal for Banquet/Private Event room

When you plan your special event or private party with us you will receive caring and attentive service from the moment you inquire until the event is complete. We take pride in helping you create the ambiance you desire by discussing the optimal room layout and décor along with the many creative food and beverage options we offer. We will also happily work with you respecting your budget specifications and any special requests you may have. We know how overwhelming event planning can be so a qualified Event Manager is always available for any questions or requests you may have.

In order to have exclusive use of one of the special event rooms, we require that the a bar minimum be met which is inclusive for your food and beverages packages. Room rentals for private parties must be booked for a two-hour minimum. To inquire about bar minimums, please email us at LosFelizNYC@gmail.com

Music: Los Feliz has a three-level sound system with a DJ booth in the basement Grotto. Music can be isolated to one room, or heard throughout the all three-levels. For parties who would like to bring their own DJ, there is a tech set-up fee. Otherwise, guests are welcome to bring along their iPod for their private event. Our house DJ arrives at 10pm on Friday’s & Saturday’s at no additional charge.

Food: Chef Julieta Ballesteros, one of the top-rated Mexican chefs in New York, has prepared several menus including a lighter “tasting” menu and three more substantial “family style” menus priced between $35 and $75 per person, which work well for dinner parties and private events. Guests have the option to customize their own menu as well as choose from our “Platters” menu (which is available by request).

Drinks: Los Feliz is known for its wide variety of fine Tequilas and our signature Margaritas, and we have a broad selection of cocktails, wines and Mexican beers. When booking a private event you have several options for drink packages in order to meet your minimum. Private party hosts can either: (a) choose from one of our open-bars packages (b) have their guests pay for their own drinks via cash bar or (c) start one tab and pay for drinks on consumption.

(all minimums are before 8.875% tax and 20%gratuity which will be added to final bill)

For groups of up to 200+ guests the entire restaurant (3 levels) could be rented out. Please call us for more information.

Please also note that we require a non-refundable deposit of at least $500 by credit card to reserve your date. You may pay by cash or credit card.

Los Feliz provides an extremely flexible layout for your private events.

With three separate and unique rooms which can be rented individually or together, Los Feliz is able to host events for groups of 20 to 200+.

Whether you’re interested in a cocktail party, a seated dinner, or a dance party with a DJ, we will work with you to ensure that your plans are realized.

Full Bar

The basement Grotto has couches, a bar, and DJ booth. This room is ideal for private parties and can accommodate 75 people for drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres (see our tasting menu).

COBBLESTONE ROOM

The Cobblestone Room located just one level downstairs from our Old World Café, can accommodate seated dinners for up to 70 people (see our prix fixe family-style menus),or 120 people for a standing cocktail party. On most nights, tables can be reserved in this room for non-private dinners of 6 or more people.

OLD WORLD CAFÉ

The Old World Café located on the street level of Los Feliz offers a bar and dining room which is normally used for walk-in parties of 2-10 guests. It can also be reserved for very large groups wishing to use the entire restaurant for an event as well.
