Judge a book by its cover!

1. Say farewell to the notebook cover that looks like everyone else’s. Get innovative and design your own notebook cover. Cover your English notebook with red colored sheet and write an inspirational quotation. Decorate it your way!

2. Puppets allow teachers and children to role play and bring the characters to life. It makes learning simpler and more fun! So, explore and enjoy the art of puppet making.

3. Make a puppet of your favorite character from any one of the stories from literature book that you have read. (use clothes, cardboards for making puppets)

The size of the stick puppet should be 10 × 3 inches. Make it look attractive by decorating it.

4. Converse in English with your family members and listen to English news daily.5. Read the newspaper regularly during your holidays. You may utilize the noon time for

this activity when you are at home. Cut five pictures from old newspapers. Paste them in your language notebook and give a caption to each picture.

6. Draw and describe your favourite character from any one chapter of literature reader.

3. Note down the numbers neatly on an A4 size sheet and put it up in a place where it can be easily reached during emergencies.

4. Examine a bag of flour, rice and sugar. Read the information given on the bag and note down the following on separate A4 sheets.
