The fifth episode of My Place follows Davey, a young stable boy working for the powerful Owen family. When he learns that his favourite horse, Duchess, is to be sold to the local tannery, he decides to put everything on the line to save her.

He steals Duchess, determined to run away with her and to live wild and free like the bushrangers. He hugs his mother goodbye and makes his getaway when he witnesses a band of real bushrangers at their villainy. Davey's master Mr Owen lies shot and possibly dying on a remote road.

Should Davey go on the run as planned or help his badly wounded master back to the farm and risk a terrible punishment for stealing a horse?PRODUCTION DETAILSProduced by Penny Chapman and Helen Panckhurst. 1838 Davey is directed by Rachel Ward and script by John Alsop. My Life As A Popat: Men In TurbansReturning to ABC3 is the drama series My Life As A Popat, which follows the adventures of Anand Popat (Sonny Gill), a 13-year-old boy who is immersed in a fantasy world derived from his encyclopaedic knowledge and obsession with Bollywood films. He dreams of escaping the chaos of home life and is forever re-inventing himself as an action hero, gangster, martial arts guru, pop star, or an Indian prince.

Meet his family and you'll begin to understand where the whole problem stems from! Anand is trapped between a self-obsessed, materialistic older sister, Dimple (Chandeep Uppal), an insane genius of a younger brother, Chetan (James Gandhi), a tracksuit-wearing showbiz dad, Ramesh (Kulvinder Ghir), and his mother, Shoba (Shaheen Khan), who never leaves him alone. With a family like the Popats, real life is much weirder than fiction.

Anand and his family have moved to a new town and he's desperate to fit in and make friends. He's taken an interest in Holly Saviour (Laura Greenwood), his next door neighbour, and is keen to ask her out to see the movie Men In Turbans. After discovering Anand is interested in a girl, his family decide to interfere. While his parents feel they have his best interests in mind, his sister Dimple and brother Chetan have other ideas. Will his family's meddling ways prevent Anand from asking Holly out ?
