Cherish Our Children International (COCI) is a 501(c)

(3) non-profit charity, established in 1993 that

develops and funds programs that fulfill on our vision,

mission and values.

Our financial and leadership support targets programs that

address the well-being of vulnerable children with

creative grass roots solutions that alter the future for generations to come.

• Articulate the Big Problem to be addressed;

• Formulate the solution in an identified written program plan;

• Attract and contribute resources to support the identified program;

• Provide guidance and support to build the program’s foundation;

• Provide and collaborate with local support for long term sustainability;

• Release the program once it is self-sustainable;

• Repeat the cycle.

In addition to supporting our vision, mission and values, each program establishes and maintains goals based on the identified problem, how and when they will know it is solved and how the program can be sustained and replicated.

USA, Houston – No More Victims Inc.

Mexico, Reynosa - Little Blue Schools

Serbia – Community Advocacy for Special Needs Children

Bosnia – Hope School

Kenya – SOS – Adopt A House

No More Victims, Inc. provides specialized program services to 250 children with incarcerated parents in 4 local high schools.

The high school is the “entry point” to services that provide an informal family support system for educational, emotional, peer and life skills support. These children face poverty and extreme home distress due to generational incarceration.

The predictable future for this population of children is that 70% of these children will end up incarcerated and or drop out of school.

Our enrolled children for 2013 had no altercations with the legal system and 100% of our seniors graduated from high school last spring.

In addition to the current enrollees, we support an alumni of over 2500 students who have successfully completed the program.

Our village house provided TOTAL family support for 10 orphans.

These children are “non-adoptable” orphans and will reside in the house for life with their brothers & sisters and committed “Mama.”

Without our program, these children would face a predictable future of disease, distress, poverty and early death.

With COCI, they now have nutrition, medical care, education, love and support to realize their future dreams.

Provided advocacy for 5000 children and families by having an established SOS line that gives access to families to discover support and available resources.

Provided specialized job training called “My first job” for special needs older children/young adults.

Provided dental care and screening to over 100 children.

Less than 10 years ago, these children would have been virtually under self imposed house arrest, today the children and family have hope for a brighter future!

In 2014, education is now provided to 340 students and the census is growing daily.

360+ meals are provided daily. Teachers depend on the communities they serve for their meals and they receive lunch or breakfast with the students. Also the volunteer mothers who prepare the meals enjoy a nutritious meal.

6 years ago, these communities had no electricity, no running water, no education.

Now the children can see a new way, a new future.
