We’re raising the roof to fix the roof, so come down and have some fun. June 10th will be Moose races and wild card game night. It all starts at 7:00 pm. June 18th is Father’s day breakfast, the WOTM will be putting on a great spread. The big event of the summer is here on June 23rd – 25th; MOOSEFEST!!! The pavilion will be rocking Friday and Saturday with great entertainment and food. Sunday will be capping the weekend with a quarter auction and car show. Want to help, Joe is still looking for volunteers for the weekend. All are welcome to help. For the entire month we will be offering Women’s self-defense classes on Monday nights starting on June 5th at 7:30 pm. Your instructor will be Pepperspray Patti Mason. She’ll make the training fun and informative. Rumor has it our governor will be one of the practice dummies you’ll be training on, I’ll be there just to see that. We just had a Valued Veteran’s monument dedicated on Memorial Day weekend. This is a great opportunity to honor your families’ veterans with the purchase of a veteran brick, put their name and service branch on your brick and it will be placed out by our flagpoles in the front of the lodge. July 23rd is our lodge’s Golf outing at Maplecrest. Sign-ups for foursomes will be on going till June 18th. Sign up early so we know how many steaks to get. August 27th will be the lodge’s picnic; we are back to Sunday afternoon again. Make sure you mark your calendar so you don’t miss it! The Monday night pool league for spring wraps-up this month. Results in next issue. If you want to join the fun for summer, call chair people Ron and Darla Kramer 262.359.0064. Highlights so far include 2 table runs for Mike Bezotte; 1 each for Rich Smart and Jason Lindow. The league shoots every Monday evening in our Social Quarters.

Monday and Wednesday AM golf continues. Jerry Bloxdorf and Bob Mertin chairman. Lunch is served at 11:30 am those days. Bring your golf receipt of the day and get your second drink fee. One per day per golfer.

State golf will be at Menomonie July 15th. Our golf outing will be July 23 at Maplecrest. Diane and Mike Gastaldi and Roxanne Patrick co- Chair. Enter on-line or get an entry blank from our bulletin board.

We have softball every night except Tuesday on our Club diamond. Horseshoes and BAGGO are pitched and tossed every Wednesday night. The refreshment stand and kid’s playground are open. All this and more in the great Moose outdoors.

Notes: June 22 is the annual Moose 286 Moose Legion picnic at the Pavilion. Come out to enjoy the Bloomin’ Days music festival June, 16 and 17 and the Moose festival June 23 through the 25. We are registered for the Tavern of the Game during the Brewer telecasts.

Join the Kenosha Moose Riders for a small activity fee of $10 a year. We are all about getting together and just having fun whether it be on a ride or a local event.

Join with or without a motorcycle, take part in all our activities in the comfort of your car! Applications are available in the hallway at the Moose lodge.

Our motorcycle season will be starting out with an Iron Butt contest. Riding continues with the Cruisin for the Heart summer long poker run to get your miles on to win. Cruisin for the Heart is a great way to visit over 40 other lodges in WI, IL, IN and IA. See any board member or a bartender to purchase a book for $10. Then have it stamped at as many locations as you can. Many great lodges participate in this fun event!

Join the Riders July 9th at the Kingfish game. Tickets are $45 and includes a bus ride (leaves the lodge at 5:45<calendar:T1:5:45>) to and from the game and all you can eat and drink. See Todd Richards for tickets.
