+Responsibilities of BCIS Support each individual child in the application process:
Proofing the applications Guiding on the essays and personal statements Help to develop a comprehensive university list Supporting the parents Providing information and support on testing strategies
Prepare and send the transcripts, school profile, teacher recommendations as needed.
Arrange college visits at BCIS – network with universities
Advocate for the students when needed
Help child make final decisions
+Responsibilities of the Students and Parents
Complete, submit and pay for the applications by the deadlines
Register for testing
Arrange for and pay to have any needed test information sent to your universities. (SAT’s, TOEFL, IELTS, IB)
Provide any financial documentation needed for visas or financial aid
Keep Naviance completely up-to-date at all times
Communicate regularly with the University Counseling office
Obtain needed visa for country in which you are matriculating
