School attendance is required. Students are expected to be on time for school every day. If your student is sick or tardy, please call the SPP office at 651-288-4606 by 10am to report their absence or tardy and provide the reason.

If the student is not sick but they don’t go to school, feel free to call and let the front desk know they should be marked as unexcused.

Students will have to serve detention and perhaps attend Saturday School if they are late to class a lot.

You will be notified by an emailed letter if your student need to attend Saturday School.

Students must maintain at least a "C" level grade in every class, with no failing grades (D’s or F’s). Failing grades will result in academic probation, and possible termination of program. In this case, SPP sends a letter to the host family and foreign partner who will notify the natural parents.

Students must enroll in an English, Math, American History or Government, and a social or natural science course during the length of their program.
