The exclusive rights granted by the Copyright Act are limited by several statutory and Constitutional limitations on copyright law. The most well known of these limitations is "fair use". However, the Copyright statute itself sets forth over ten separate limitations on copyright law. Because of the limited applicability of some of these limitations

Multimedia Presentation

Describes the use of a combination of audio, video , animation, text , images , and or graphics in some form of presentation. It’s a simple power point.

We use multimedia when we use power Points and when we text

Productivity Tools

Software applications that allow users to accomplish specific tasks more efficiently and effectively. Ex: word processing and spreadsheet applications, like an online calendar. We use productivity tools when we use an online calendar.

Project Management Software.

Soft ware are programs that provide tools to help manage projects such as integrated calendars, report generators, scheduling, charting, tracking, prioritizing. We use project management when we use charting.

Ranking and Sorting Tools

Ranking tools allow users to analyze data by placing items in a particular order; sorting tools allow user to analyze data by placing items in similar categories.

Ranking tools are used when you graph numbers on a chart.

Real Time

Refers to information that is received and processed so quickly by a computer that the interaction seems instantaneous. Videoconferencing and chat are to examples.

We use real time when we Skype or video chat with someone.

Smart Phone

An electronic handheld device (usually a cell phone) offering advanced capabilities, often with pc like functionality usually combines voice services with e-mail, fax, pager or internet access

We use smart phones everyday when you use an iPhone.

Social Media Can refer to interactive

communication in which participants in online communities such as Facebook share thoughts , photos, etc. with members of their own personal networks in a controlled way enables people to connect or collaborate through computer .

We use social media when we use Facebook or Skype.

Software

Programs that tell a computer what to do.

You can update your software on a computer.

Synchronous Collaboration

Real time interaction in which all participants are logged on at the same time and communicate directly with each other. Interaction may occur via audio or videoconferencing.

We use Synchronous collaboration when we do face time on smartphones.

`Technology System

Computer hardware, software, and infrastructure and the intersection between them.

We use the technology system when we video tape something.

Threaded Discussion

A form of Asynchronous discussion on the web whereby one user post a message or document giving other users the ability to see it and respond to it in their own time.

We use threaded discussion when we get on Facebook or Twitter.

Virtual Words

A computer simulated environment where users can interactive with each other via internet.

We use virtual words when we get on blogs or just on our emails those are some examples.

Web Publishing

Creating and posting a document that can be accessed on the internet; may contain information using graphics, and hyperlinks to other web – pages and files.

You can web publishing a blog or posting an ad on the internet.

Wiki

A collaboration website that enables multi users to edit and add content. One of the best-known and frequently accessed public wikis on the internet is Wikipedia.

We use wiki when we get on Wikipedia.
