Our mission is to educate and
inspire our students by bringing
their Jewish heritage to life.

programs, students will gain a
strong sense of Jewish identity and
Jewish values.
Now the entire family
can get in on the
Sunday School fun !
As part of our Dor L 'Dor
("Generation to Generation")
initiative , we will be offering
a variety of programs
throughout the year
that will involve
the whole family .
OUR PROGRAM
Students will gain an appreciation for
the many exciting days on the Jewish
calendar, from Shabbat to Tu B'Shvat.
Through crafts, baking, and other
activities, students will discover the
unique rituals and customs related to
each Jewish holiday.
JEWISH CALENDAR
JEWISH TEXTS
Sunday School classes will provide
students with a comprehensive
overview of the seminal events in
Jewish history - including the
destruction of the Temple and the
founding of the State of Israel.
JEWISH HISTORY
Hebrew School classes will introduce
students to the letters of the Jewish
alphabet and give them the skills and
confidence to read Hebrew texts and
to navigate the pages of the Hebrew
prayer book and Bible. In addition,
classes will often include an exploration
of the coming week's Torah Portion.
CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is designed to make
learning fun. Through music, art,
baking, storytelling and other
interactive activities, students will
explore their Jewish heritage in a
warm and nurturing environment.
Through role play, stories, and class
discussion, students will learn about the
importance of Jewish values, such as
honoring one's parents, visiting the sick,
giving charity, and performing acts of
loving kindness.
JEWISH VALUES

special milestone in a child's life.
Pre Bar/Bat Mitzvah students will run a
Chanukah toy-drive as well as other
initiatives as part of Adereth El Gives

students the importance of performing
kind deeds and making the world a
better place.
