The Taipei Smart City Summit & Expo is a B2B oriented Exhibition, focused on providing one-step Smart Solution to meet the needs of clients. It is the biggest and the most comprehensive smart city trade show in Asia-Pacific region. The event is a joint effort between dedicated local government and experienced ICT companies that are striving to promote the best quality of life for its citizens and customers. The 2016 edition attracted 15,940 participants, 1,026 international visitors and 157 exhibitors to come and seek for business opportunity and partners.

| Mayors’ Summit

In addressing Smart City and the challenges it faced, the effort and visions of municipal government cannot be overvalued. Mayors’ summit invited leaders around the global to discuss and to exchange thoughts on Smart City, together to create a more livable cities and bring happiness for their citizens. In 2016, mayor’s summit invited 9 mayors from home and aboard coming to Taipei and sharing their insights and vision, attracting 375 audiences.

The Taipei Smart City Declaration demands the joint efforts of 10 smart city leaders from Czech Republic, France, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Netherland, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and of course Taipei. Together, they aim to bring more cooperation and exchange to encourage innovations and achieve the implement of smart services and technologies.
