May 18, 2018 Dear Parents/Guardians; Reminder: A Fiddle Concert featuring all of the students in Seven Oaks School Division who play the fiddle at school will take place on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Jubilee Place (MBCI), 180 Riverton Avenue. Directions to Jubilee Place are provided below. Further to the letter that was emailed on May 3, 2018, I indicated that it will be necessary for you to provide transportation for your child to and from Jubilee Place. In order to know which student’s fiddles are needed at the concert, I was to be notified in writing by May 16th if your child is unable to participate, and to date it appears that almost everyone will be able to perform with Seven Oaks School Division Mass Fiddle Ensemble on Wednesday evening. If there’s a change, please let me know in writing by Tuesday morning if your child will not be able to participate on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. All of our Grade 4 fiddle students will have a mass fiddle ensemble rehearsal with all fiddlers in Seven Oaks School Division on Tuesday morning, May 22nd at Ecole Seven Oaks Middle School. We will be transported to the rehearsal during the day by school bus. For their performance in the Seven Oaks School Divisional Fiddle Concert, all students will be given a red R. F. Morrison T-shirt to wear (they should wear their own if they have) with their dark pants or skirts. All T-shirts can be returned to me the day after the concert so that I can wash them. Школа R. F. Morrison School’s fiddlers performed wonderfully for all the Grade 1-6 students in our school at the Fiddle and Guitar Assembly on Wednesday, May 16th in the gym. So I am looking forward to their performance in the Fiddle Jamboree next Wednesday! We hope many parents and supporters can attend the Fiddle Concert at Jubilee Place which will feature your children. Your support and child’s participation will be greatly appreciated.
