SECTION 1: DESCRIPTION The Educational Advancement Committee is a
committee of the ASB board. The committee consists of two representatives and one alternate from each term, and a selected board.
SECTION 2: PURPOSE The EAC functions to enhance the educational
experience at SCUHS by giving faculty honest feedback about their courses and instruction, and acting as the liaison between administration, faculty, staff, and students with the utmost honor and respect…The EAC acts as an arbitrator and assists professors, faculty, and students when needed. Treats students, with the utmost honor and respect.

ARTICLE V: TERM REPRESENTATIVES The EAC Term Representative is intimately related to
the quality of the SCUHS educational experience. They are primarily responsible for being catalysts for progress, managing the information flow both to and from the EAC. The EAC Term Representatives are, first and foremost, responsible for being inspiring, solution-driven advocates for academic excellence.
SECTION 2: TERM Each Term Representative will serve the EAC for one
year and will be required to be reelected at the beginning of each subsequent year. If necessary, the EAC Chair will recruit, mentor, and aid the election process for each reelection.

SECTION 3: ELIGIBILITY Current full-time SCUHS students who have a
cumulative GPA of 2.5, are not on academic probation, and have not been found responsible for a violation of the Student Code of Ethics are eligible for nomination.

EAC Duties
EAC members are arbitrators. Represent the majority of the class… The
individual should deal with individual student issues.
If, however, an individual requires a support system, an EAC representative may accompany the student to act as support and a mediator
EAC members should inform the class that class issues should be addressed through EAC unless less than 10% of the class or an individual is involved.

ACADEMIC INTEGRITY AGREEMENT
I shall not: cheat on examinations, quizzes, projects
homework, or any other coursework; receive nor give information about
examinations and quizzes to another student; collaborate with other students in the
completion of academic requirements, unless specifically authorized by the course instructor;
submit material that is wholly or substantially identical to that created or published by another person or persons, without adequate citation and/or permission from that person or persons;

In the case of first time or minor infractions, I understand that the instructors/Professors of the course, with the advice and approval of the College Dean, will have authority in the determination of any violation of this agreement and have full authority in administration of sanctions that affect my status in that course.
any defense against violations of this policy will be administered through the student judicial process as discussed in the Student Code of Conduct.
