Christmas in Poland begins on 24th December and is very beautiful There are many lights and decorated buildings everywhere Whole families meet and when the first star appears in the sky they sit around the table where there are many delicious Christmas specialities eg carp red borsch and dumplings We all share the holy wafer and make wishes Christmas Day is nice too Families attend Christmas mass meet again and there is a lot of fun The second Christmas day is also very nice Of course nobody goes to work or school Christmas is the time when people talk a lot and spend their free time with a family and people that are close to their heart Christmas is magic time and miracles come true then

During All Saints Day on 1st November people go to cemeteries light candles and put flowers on the graves In this way people honor the memory of their beloved ones who have passed away

National Independence Day ndash Polish national holiday held on 11th November every year in memory of regaining independence by Poland in 1918 after 123 years of captivity This public holiday was appointed recently when the II Republic of Poland restored in 1989

During All Saints Day on 1st November people go to cemeteries light candles and put flowers on the graves In this way people honor the memory of their beloved ones who have passed away

During All Saints Day on 1st November people go to cemeteries light candles and put flowers on the graves In this way people honor the memory of their beloved ones who have passed away

Easter is the oldest and most important Christian festival Itrsquos holy cross commemorating of death and resurrection of Jesus Christ The week preceding it which is the time for remembering the most important events of the Christian faith is called Holy Week It may be between March 22nd and April 25th

Christmas in Poland begins on 24th December and is very beautiful There are many lights and decorated buildings everywhere Whole families meet and when the first star appears in the sky they sit around the table where there are many delicious Christmas specialities eg carp red borsch and dumplings We all share the holy wafer and make wishes Christmas Day is nice too Families attend Christmas mass meet again and there is a lot of fun The second Christmas day is also very nice Of course nobody goes to work or school Christmas is the time when people talk a lot and spend their free time with a family and people that are close to their heart Christmas is magic time and miracles come true then

During All Saints Day on 1st November people go to cemeteries light candles and put flowers on the graves In this way people honor the memory of their beloved ones who have passed away
