Rom. 12:14-21
Pray in Faith
This should be our first reaction – James 5:13-16
Motivated by trust in God – James 1:5-6
Pray to Him who is in control – Prov. 3:5-8
Do Not Lose Hope
It is easy to become cynical & pessimistic, but God’s children are to be different – Rom. 8:28
There is good to be found – Eccl. 9:7-9 Our aim is not in this life – Titus 1:1-3
Love At All Times
Even when it hurts, there is profit in showing love & compassion – 2 Thess. 3:13
Love defeats hatred – Prov. 25:21-22 We should be there to comfort one
another – 2 Cor. 13:11-13
Conclusion
Faith, hope, and love abide if we choose to hold on to them. No matter what evils we have to face in this world, do not lose heart; God is in control and has promised us a better, eternal home!
