Molzen Corbin Is pleased to provide your office with this proposal for Architectural/Engineering Services to determine the costs associated with the development of a Rodeo/Pavilion Events Center on the eastern edge of the NMSU Main Campus near the current Rodeo facilities. Molzen Corbin based this proposal on the following Information:

• This is project will include a new Rodeo arena for NMSU's championship Rodeo team and related facilities.

• The proposed facility will be designed to seat 15,000 people. • The facility will be full services with food service, restrooms, ADA, and parking services. • The facility will accommodate canopy style shading, as well as shading for the performance area. • The facility will have access off Geothermal and University Avenue. • The evaluation will include a site selection, but will generally be in the vicinity of the existing

Rodeo Arena . • The evaluation will include cost for external infrastructure including water, sewer, power, natural

gas, and paved roads.

Molzen Corbin will utilize existing topographic data, accurate to 2-foot contour Intervals, for this evaluation. Our team will include interviews with both stakeholders associated with the Pavilion, as well as the Rodeo team to obtain basic programming data for project schematics. Molzen Corbin will provide NMSU with the following deliverables:

1. A Site Plan showing the location of the facilities that takes advantage of the natural topography for enhanced views, and seclusion for this facility ..

2. Schematic diagrams of the proposed facil ity. 3. An Infrastructure Study for the extension of offsite utilities and roads. 4. An Opinion of Probable Construction Cost that Includes:

We will complete the evaluation within 30 days of receipt of comments from NMSU of the preliminary plan. Molzen Corbin proposes a Lump Sum fee in the amount of $51,606.84, plus applicable taxes for this evaluation.

The annual NMSU Spring Rodeo has won ",Rodeo of the Year" for 8 years straight. (an award given to the best rodeo of each region). Mother H.ubbard "ACTS''

The ACTS Scholarship Program is a non-profit 501(c)3 scholarship fund raising organization that provides opportunities for university students to experience "hands on" internships in their chosen fields. The program assists not

: only the collegiate performers by offering them openings for established acts when appropriate· but assists the students who desire positions. behind the scenes as well. Credit hours may be gained by working with the students' professors

1 in their related fields. Internships may enhance j majors such as bus i ness_, accounting,

marketing, hospitality services, and technical production. In some cases, housing and a stipend may be provided so that students are able to save money to apply toward their tuition.

ACTS carefully screens :students to .·fit specific intern opportunities that will not only assist them in their educational process, but that will also enhance the. employers' goals and objectives.
