NIKITA The name Nikita originates from a small village called Câmara De Lobos, which is situated in Madeira Island. Nikita is named aſter a refreshing pineapple alcoholic cocktail, which we also serve as a non-alcoholic mocktail, for children to also enjoy a true Nikita style experience. Nikita Portuguese Restaurant is a family run business. They opened the restaurant aſter searching for a place to enjoy Portuguese style food, which reminded them of their homeland. They decided to create their own haven of Madeira Island, right here in South Africa, offering authenc Portuguese style food and an ambience reflecng Madeira’s café society. Madeira has a café culture and its people are amongst the world’s biggest coffee connoisseurs. They say Galinha e Camarão (chicken and prawns) is almost a favourite with the Portuguese, not to menon the Vinho Tinto (red wine). We aim for Nikita’s to be as authencally Portuguese as possible, we have even gone as far as to have brought a Moçambiquen chef from Maputo to prepare tradional chicken and various types of fresh fish as well as tradional puddings. Our speciales are chicken, prawns, calamari and ribs. The restaurant serves a variety of drinks imported from Madeira as well as Portugal, ranging from cocktails to coffees. Nikita stocks more than 100 wines from around the globe that will suite any connoisseurs taste. Without reasonable doubt we are proud to be running a famous Portuguese style restaurant, equipped to cater for 300 guests. We do funcons for the corporate market, conferencing, banquets, weddings, anniversaries, bapsms, sundowners and birthdays. We handle all décor, catering and live music for your dream funcon. We found that guests enjoy the locaon and scenery of our property along with the authenc Portuguese experience, so much that we offer a fully serviced accommodaon overlooking a spectacular beer garden.
