National Delta Tau Alpha newsletter November/December 2004Meet your National Secretary I am a senior at Texas A&M Commerce. I grew up on a cattle and horse ranch in Nashoba, OK. In grade school as active in the 4-H program. In junior high and high school I was in the FFA club. I showed cattle, judged land and livestock, and did public speaking. I was treasurer, secretary, and president. I went to junior college at Eastern Oklahoma State College where I was captain of the I am currently an animal science major at A&M Commerce. Meet yourNational Secretary

I am a senior at Texas A&M Commerce. I grew up on a cattle and horse ranch in Nashoba, OK. In grade school as active in the 4-H program. In junior high and high school I was in the FFA club. I showed cattle, judged land and livestock, and did public speaking. I was treasurer, secretary, and president. I went to junior college at Eastern Oklahoma State College where I was captain of the soils judging team, director of activities at the United Ministry, and a member of the student senate.

I am currently an animal science major at A&M Commerce. I am officer in the Pre-Veterinary Society and an active member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Equestrian Club. I plan to graduate in May of 2005 and continue my education at Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. I eventually plan to open a private veterinary practice.

Worry is a misuse of imagination.

Dan ZadraWe are preparing for the National Convention by discussing more

fundraisers, raising registration fees, and possible activities or visits to the Ag Expo

in Poplar Bluff.

We are having a fundraiser in which we will be selling Breakfast Tacos in December.

We participated in Homecoming Activities by sponsoring Farm Tours and a Petting Zoo. We are also having the December Social Activity

either Bowling or Ice Skateing.

We are preparing for the Ag Symposium and Operation Christmas Child.

We collected canned for the Thanksgiving holiday. We also co-hosted a speaker that spoke about the devastation of Drunk Driving . We are in the planning stages of their spring activity of the Beef

and Bowl.
