School District Administrative Claiming:Made available by the Missouri Department of
Social Services, MO HealthNet DivisionThe purpose of the SDAC program is to promote
and improve both availability and knowledge of medical care through MO HealthNet in our Missouri Schools
Reimbursable activities include: Outreach, Coordination, and/or Referrals to students for the improvement of health care services

Local Tax Effort/Public Placement Fund:
Local Tax Effort Public Placement Fund
Also known as “Domicile District”
Process- Bill the district where a foster student’s parents reside and pay local taxes
Purpose- Recoup funding from districts who receive money for your district’s educational services
Reimbursement from DESE for educating IEP and non-IEP students placed within a non-domicile district by a state agency
Funding is available when the educational costs of these students exceed the revenues received by the serving district
