A training-cum-interactive session was conducted at MECON, Ranchi 03.06.2015 on

“Enhancing Transparency”. The session was conducted by CVO, MECON along with DGM

I/c (Vigilance). It was attended by 34 Head of the Departments of MECON, Ranchi. Current

extent of transparency on various aspects was deliberated and views were sought as to need

for further enhancement of transparency in the organization.

A training-cum-interactive session was conducted by CVO, MECON, Bangalore on 29.06.2015

on “Guidelines for Improvement in Procurement System”. The session was attended by

senior officials of MECON, Bangalore.

A workshop on ‘Right to Information Act (RTI) & Vigilance’ was conducted by CVO, MECON

on 08.07.2015 at MECON, Ranchi for generating awareness focusing role of executives in

respect of RTI Act 2005. Various aspects of Act were deliberated and explained including

penal provisions. Link between information sought under the Act and vigilance was also

deliberated. Case studies were also presented. A total of 42 executives participated which

included Lt. I.P. Dikshit, DGM & Vigilance Officer, MECON, Bangalore.
